Beyond
Did You Know?
My first big exploration was the Moon!
How did I start?
I drew a picture!
I just use pen and paper! Pencils and crayons work too!
These tools are useful for drawing sketches to make sure I don't forget something!
Try it out! Write down things or draw sketches of something so you don't forget!
So much space to draw!
I can also use my phone!
It's super convenient!
If I see something exciting and need to take a quick picture to find out more, I use the camera on my phone!
It's super convenient and it allows me to conduct further research!
Give it a try! See what you can capture!
The camera is out of this world!
Astro's Log
This is where I keep all my notes about my explorations!
Entry #001
Today I learned that the moon spins on its axis once each time it orbits, meaning that we only ever see one side of it!
As the moon rotates, the sun lights up one side of the moon and leaves the other side dark, which makes the moon have different phases.
It takes one month for the moon to fully orbit around the Earth and go through all of its cycles!
Time to go explore other planets in our solar system!
It may look like there is a dark side, but there is nothing "dark" about it!
Help me make more discoveries by looking above and beyond!
